1 CHRONICLES 4:10 (KJV)
Almost a year ago, my family and I moved away from the home I had known for eight years. I had moved once before, but I had been only five and didn’t remember much. Although I wasn’t scared, I was sad and wondered what was going to happen. We already owned a house where we were moving and had visited it twice. I had a lot of things to look forward to: a new mall, my own room, a bigger city, but what about my friends? Would we still be friends after I had been gone a while? Would we write as often as we said we would? Would we remain friends as we grew up? What was going to happen? I couldn’t really cry because I was driving in a car with a family friend. As I watched the miles disappear behind me, I started praying to God, asking for help and guidance. About an hour later the rain cleared up and everything looked beautiful. I had strength and all of a sudden I knew I would always keep my same friends; this was just a new way to make more. Although I haven’t been gone a year, I have made new friends and kept in contact with my old ones. I love where I live now, and I know that God has blessed me, answered my prayers, and enlarged my circle of friends.

Thank You, Father, for bringing blessings
I don’t expect, Just when I think I couldn’t
be sadder, You give me a reason to be happy.
