never let go (part 2)

For I am the LORD, your God,
who takes hold of your right hand and says to you,
Do not fear; I will help you.

ISAIAH 41:13

Since I found out I have Crohn’s disease, I’ve had to learn to cope with doctor visits, medications, mood swings, pain, tears. Sometimes it’s really hard to keep going, to keep smiling. Despite all of that, I have an amazing source of strength and hope. Jesus has been there with me through every trial, and because of Crohn’s, we have grown much closer over the past two years. He is my shelter from the storm, my constant comforter and helper. Without Him, I don’t know where I would be. I do long for healing, but it’s up to God whether it will happen on this earth or in heaven. What matters most is that I have a lifelong Friend who will never let go of my hand.

Thank You, Jesus, for never letting go of my hand.
I am so grateful that You walk with me every step of the way.
