PSALM 95:2
Thanksgiving is the time of year when friends and family come together to celebrate and worship God. This tradition started when the pilgrims came over from England and gave thanks to God for providing them with the necessities of life in the new world. Psalm 95:2 says, “Let us come before him with thanksgiving, and extol Him with songs and praise.” Psalm 100:4 also says, “Let us enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise.” So we should give thanks to the Lord through all things. When we give thanks to the Lord, it shows Him how much we love him and appreciate the sacrifice He made for us! So in everything we do and say, we should try to thank God for all things.

Lord, I want to thank You for everything.
Every single thing. For notebook paper and couches
and trees. All of it, everything I take for granted,
is a gift from You.
