ISAIAH 30:21
Everyone knows that the teenage years are a time of a lot of important decisions. As I entered my sophomore year of high school, I suddenly began panicking because I needed to start thinking about college. This constant worrying and anxiety drove me crazy. I got little sleep, and the sleep I did manage to get was filled with giant college applications chasing me around and around. I would wake up more exhausted than when I fell asleep and still not be any closer to knowing what I wanted to do for college. I wondered if I would be able to keep up good grades. I wondered if I should stay in my hometown and attend Montana State University (Yea Bobcats!) or venture out to the East Coast. And what on earth did I want to major in? I talked to one of my teachers, and she encouraged me to pray, pray, pray. After all, since God knew exactly what He wanted to do with my life, all I had to do was figure out what he wanted and follow Him. That night as I was reading my Bible, I read Isaiah 30:21. It jumped off the page at me. All I had to do was pray, and God would really help me in my decisions. Thank you, Jesus! No matter what I do, I know you will be there helping me.
