school, please?

For the LORD searches every heart and
understands every motive behind the thoughts.
If you seek him, he will be found by you;
but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

1 CHRONICLES 28:9

I have been homeschooled most of my life. I didn’t mind it because my mom was a good teacher, but I really wanted some friends. I took dance classes and joined clubs and organizations to try and make good friends, but none of it seemed to work. I wanted to be a part of all the school happenings. I was going to start high school in the fall, and I really didn’t want to be homeschooled anymore—so I started praying. One night when we were having dinner with some friends, the subject of schools came up. Our friends, who had also been homeschooling, had found a private school that used the same curriculum as we did. I was thrilled! My parents looked into the school and said I could attend! God knew my desires and answered my prayers. I’ve been at my school for a few months, and it feels so normal, like I am exactly where I need to be. I am so thankful that God listens to my heart and answer my prayers.

Father, I just want to praise You for the way You make
things work out. Sometimes life just fits together like this perfect
puzzle, and I can see Your great work. Thank You!
