About the Author

Matthew Sweigart, AOBTA—CI, (Northern California), is the Director of Education of the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia. He is also the director and primary instructor of the HeartMind Shiatsu five-hundred-and forty-hour training program offered in Boulder, CO. He began his professional Shiatsu practice in 1988 with the founding of Ohashiatsu Chicago. He currently serves as visiting faculty at Zen Shiatsu Chicago. Matthew is also the author of Touching Ki, The HeartMind Shiatsu Meridian Gestures and Functions Chart, Meridian Qigong, and several other books and DVDs.
