Meditation and Reflection

I am practicing persistence in pursuing my goals every day because I understand that it’s one of the primary qualities of successful people.

I am achieving my goals by following my heart, practicing my daily disciplines, and staying focused on my hopes and dreams.

I am confidently seeking alternative paths of action when needed, knowing that obstacles and roadblocks to my goals can easily be overcome.

History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heartbreaking obstacles before they triumphed. They won ecause they refused to become discouraged by their defeats.

History is overflowing with examples of the virtues of persistence. The most notable winners throughout the ages would have encountered untold challenges before their victories, yet they refused to be defeated.

Take some motivation to always practice persistence from these successful people:

Being persistent when you encounter obstacles and roadblocks is a requirement for success, and an important source of growth and prosperity.

There’s a big difference between being persistent and just being busy, and the sooner you realize it the better off you’ll be. You have already created a plan for each of your goals that outlines the steps you need to take to be successful. Sometimes, your dedication and persistence can get you so engrossed in day-to-day activities that your overarching goal gets buried beneath all the smaller steps you are taking. Don’t let busyness cloud your focus on the big picture—your ultimate goal.

If you’re spending time filling the hours instead of fulfilling your dreams, you’re not maximizing your potential. Remember that The Law of Attraction rewards positive, productive energy with even more positive, productive energy. Don’t put limits on your potential to receive abundance, health, opportunity, happiness, and contentment. You are going to need those benefits to get you through any roadblocks and any unforeseen challenges you may face.

Brian Adams, author of How to Succeed, wrote, “Difficulties are opportunities to better things; they are stepping stones to greater experience. . . . When one door closes, another always opens; as a natural law it has to, to balance.”
