Introduction
As each day passes, Aldair and his companions face the dangers of new lands and the vast open sea. In a faraway continent to the west, they begin to discover even more secrets of that treacherous race known as Man. In the introduction to our previous volume, I talked about the two factors that drive the Aldair quartet: Aldair's vow to break the chains that bound Man's creatures, and the underlying truth that it is not that easy to escape the dark design he has charted for his Beasts.
Nowhere is this struggle more evident than in Aldair Across the Misty Sea, for here we learn of a land called Merrika, and a place named Amazon, where Man has left a citadel of his past, and ageless metal men to guard it.
We've scarcely just begun...
