Crunchy Steel Cut Oats (Clean eating, Vegan)

The pressure cooker provides a worry free method of cooking steel cut oats.

Preparation time: 2 minutes

Cooking time: 5 minutes

Servings: 3

Ingredients:

1/2 cup steel cut oats

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2 cups water

Salt, to taste

Directions:

1. Add together all the ingredients in the pressure cooker.

2. Close the lid and lock. Cook for 5 minutes at high pressure.

3. At the end of the cooking time, use the Natural Release method for 10 minutes then quick release the remaining pressure.

4. Open the lid carefully, stir the oats and let sit for 1-2 minutes.

5. Serve with desired toppings and sweeteners.
