Orange And Honey Glazed Turkey Wings (Clean eating, Gluten free, Low carb)

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 40 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

4 turkey wings

2-3 tablespoons oil

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

1 medium onion, sliced roughly

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup shelled walnuts

1/2 cup honey

1 bunch fresh thyme

1 cup fresh orange juice

Directions:

1.Heat olive oil in the pressure cooker. Rub salt and pepper on turkey wings then brown in hot oil on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer the wings to a plate.

2. Add onions and garlic to the oil then let cook briefly. Return the turkey to the pressure cooker (it is better to stand the wings for even cooking). Add walnuts, honey, thyme and orange juice.

3. Close the lid and lock. Cook for 18-25 minutes at high pressure. At the end of the cooking time, use the Natural Release method for 10 minutes then quick release the remaining pressure.

4. Remove the thyme bunch and transfer turkey wings to a sheet pan. Place under the broiler for just 5 minutes to caramelize.

5. Meanwhile, heat the cooking liquid in the pressure cooker until reduced by half.

6. Pour the contents of the pressure cooker on the turkey wings and serve.
