Easy Applesauce (Clean eating, Gluten free, Vegan)

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 4 minutes

Servings: Yields 4 cups

Ingredients:

3 pounds apples, peeled, cored, sliced

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cups apple juice or apple cider

Pinch of salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:

1. In the pressure cooker, combine all the ingredients.

2. Close the lid and lock. Cook for 4 minutes at high pressure. At the end of the cooking time, quick release the pressure.

3. Use an immersion blender or regular blender to blend to desired consistency.
