Ingredients:
5 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 apples, peeled, coarsely chopped
6 eggs
6 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups milk
Directions:
1. Grease 6 custard cups.
2. Melt the butter in a medium skillet then add the maple syrup and cinnamon. Stir in the apples and cook until soft. Divide the mixture evenly among the prepared custard cups.
3. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl then stir in sugar, vanilla and milk. Pour the egg mixture into the custard cups. Cover the cups tightly with foil.
4. Add 2 cups of water to the pressure cooker then insert the steamer basket. Add the custard cups to the streamer basket (as many as it can take).
5. Close the lid and lock. Cook for 7 minutes at high pressure. At the end of the cooking time, use the Natural Release method.
6. Open the lid, remove the custard cups, take off the foil and let cool before serving.
