Chapter 99

“I’ll show you what beef is…

Have me runnin’ through the back door of your mom’s crib…

Knowin’ it might be the same spot where yo’ kids live…

Your baby moms known to play the card, so don’t play big…”

Little James rapped along with Head’s latest single off his Ain’t Hard To Find mix tape as he sped out to Virginia to show Carmelo exactly what beef was. Little James felt heated and a little messed up in the head that he had missed his chance to kill Carmelo earlier. Little James figured that if Carmelo didn’t get help from the other guys on the block during the shoot-out, he would have finished him right there on the same block where his uncle got killed.

“I got two fifths, four clips, niggas going ‘round talkin hoe shit…

Ain’t got no cuts who I war with…

You can bring yo’ guns and yo’ whole clique…

Long as y’all don’t come throwing rocks atta whole brick…”

Little James allowed the song to get him pumped up for what he was about to do. He wanted to make Carmelo really suffer for getting away today. He only knew one way to do that, and that was to kill his wife and son.

“I Ain’t hard To find. I’m Uptown always wit’ a hammer…

Or catch me on that southside right off Alabama…

Where dat drama at…want work, you get over there…

I’m the breeze of death…you can feel it in the air…”

By the time the song reached the second verse, Little James had parked the Lexus right outside of Carmelo’s huge house and pulled out his gun. After chambering a round he looked at house and smiled. Without waiting another second, Little James got out of the car with one thing in mind:

“I’ll show you what beef is…

Have me runnin’ through the back door of your mom’s crib…

Knowin’ it might be the same spot where yo’ kids live…

Your baby moms known to play the card, so don’t play big…”
