NOTES
INTRODUCTION
1.  The project of a “science of philosophy” has to be nuanced. It cannot mean that philosophy becomes the “object” a science aims for, but only that it is the datum or the material required by this science outside every “objectivation” and in view of a science of the essence of science, an essence that is its “real object.” The concept of “object of a science” is ambiguous and will be dissolved. We distinguish the phenomenon-object or datum and the real-object of a science.
2.  Obviously “artificial philosophy” does not designate the “philosophy of the artificial” or the “philosophy of Artificial Intelligence,” but rather an “artificial” treatment of philosophy itself.
1. SCIENCE
1.  A first, more reduced and less precise version of this chapter appeared in the journal La Décision philosophique (Editions Osiris, 1987). That text is expected to introduce a treatise devoted entirely to “first science” or science of the essence of science.
4. THE CONCEPTS OF GENERALIZED FRACTALITY AND CHAOS
