12. A statue of Robert Bruce, King of Scots, by Charles d’Orville Pilkington Jackson. The face is partly based on a cast of Bruce’s skull, which was made when his skeleton was exhumed in the early nineteenth century. The statue was created in the 1960s and now stands near the Bannockburn Visitor Centre, Stirling.
