Comfort Zone

Brad was pressing her too hard. He’d been doing it ever since their relationship turned serious. That’s what had done it, what had pushed the young woman to be standing at the edge of a bridge looking down hundreds of feet into the canyon below.

If he’d only let her move at her own pace. He was always pushing her. “Get out of your comfort zone,” he’d say.

She was certainly uncomfortable now.  She didn’t want to jump, but it seemed like the only way.

Feeling alone, she stepped off the edge. You win again, Brad. Okay, I’m bungee jumping.
