Duncan sat in his canvas-back chair watching as he sweated out the robbery he’d planned.
Soon, three bandits left the bank carrying money bags. In seconds, police appeared. Officers grabbed the bandits, stuffed them and the money into squad cars and roared off. Duncan hoped no one would notice this somewhat inaccurate police procedure.
“Cut.” he yelled. “That’s a wrap.”
The movie crew packed up the lights, cameras, and other equipment. The unwitting production company was expensive but necessary. They wouldn’t share in the loot.
“Director” Duncan congratulated himself. Pretending to shoot a movie to cover a real bank robbery was the best idea he’d ever had. He wondered how soon the tied-up bank employees would be found.
