JACKSONVILLE, OREGON
CONCERTS FROM SPRING THROUGH FALL
BRITTFEST.ORG
Brittfest is the Pacific Northwest’s premier outdoor summer performing arts festival. Located in the historic 1850’s gold rush town of Jacksonville, Oregon, Brittfest presents dozens of summer concerts featuring world-class artists in classical, jazz, blues, folk, bluegrass, world, pop, and country music.
Brittfest’s performance venue is a naturally formed amphitheater set among majestic ponderosa pines and native madrones on the beautiful hillside estate of nineteenth-century photographer Peter Britt, whose remarkable life is still visible on the Britt hill. A reconstructed stone foundation outlines Peter Britt’s original home site in the lower gardens. Many of the trees Britt planted are still producing fruit, and the Sequoia sapling Britt planted on the day his first child was born in 1862 now stands more than two hundred feet tall.
Tens of thousands of music lovers travel from all over the West to enjoy Brittfest’s world-class performances, spectacular scenery, and casual, relaxing atmosphere. While there, they enjoy picnics brought from home as well as the festival’s diverse concessions menu.
