Since the early 1970s, the Festival at Sandpoint in the small town of Sandpoint, Idaho, has been the home to an annual summer concert series with eight nights of eclectic music under the stars on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. Performances include everyone from the Spokane Symphony to B.B. King, from Tony Bennett to Lyle Lovett.
Best of all, the festival is intimate. It feels as though the arts are playing in your own backyard, a private concert for you and your friends and family. With artists from virtually every genre of music in a given year, the organizers of the Festival at Standpoint want concertgoers to get back to their musical roots in an experience that is both rare and precious.
Attendees can relax on a blanket or in a lawn chair and enjoy their own picnic supper from home or food purchased at the festival.
