Greenville, South Carolina, is a hip, Southern town nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is no shortage of activities and events downtown, including Moonlight Movies, which take place at the Peace Center Amphitheatre during the summers.
You won’t find the newest releases at this outdoor theatre. This is family-friendly affair featuring classic films from the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s. The free event is a fantastic opportunity for the kids to meet some of silver screen’s most memorable characters such as “the Duke” and maybe even those silly Three Stooges. Bring a themed picnic based on the movie being shown; you might just feel as if you’ve stepped back into “the good ole days.”
