TURKEY, APPLE, AND BRIE FINGER SANDWICHES

Dainty tea sandwiches are a picnic staple. These crowd-pleasing mini turkey sandwiches get a nice creamy texture from the Brie cheese and crunchy tartness from the Granny Smith apples.

ΒΌ cup Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 tablespoons honey

16 slices bread, crusts removed

16 slices deli turkey

8 ounces Brie cheese, thinly sliced

1 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced

Mix together the mustard, mayonnaise, and honey in a small bowl. Spread this mixture onto one side of each slice of bread. For each sandwich, place 2 slices of the turkey on a slice of bread, then 2 to 3 slices of the Brie, and then 3 to 4 apples slices. Top with another slice of bread. Lightly press the sandwich, and cut into halves. Refrigerate the sandwiches until you are ready to serve them.
