ITALIAN SAUSAGE & BEAN SOUP

The combo of sausage, beans and coleslaw may sound unusual, but it is so comforting and delicious!

Takes: 30 min. • Makes: 6 servings

1 lb. bulk hot Italian sausage

2 cans (151/2 oz. each) great northern beans, rinsed and drained

1 pkg. (16 oz.) coleslaw mix

1 jar (24 oz.) garlic and herb spaghetti sauce

3 cups water

In a Dutch oven, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until flavors are blended, 16-20 minutes.
