HAWAIIAN BARBECUE BEANS

4 cans (15 oz. each) black beans, rinsed and drained

1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained

1 bottle (18 oz.) barbecue sauce

11/2 tsp. minced fresh gingerroot

1/2 lb. bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

In a 4-qt. slow cooker, combine the beans, pineapple, barbecue sauce and ginger. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. Stir in bacon before serving.
