CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES

You may be tempted to save this recipe for a special occasion since these smooth, creamy chocolates are divine. But they’re so easy to make, why not indulge any time?

Prep: 20 min. + chilling Makes: 4 dozen

3 cups (18 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips

1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk

1 Tbsp. vanilla extract

Optional coatings: chocolate sprinkles, Dutch-processed cocoa, espresso powder and cocoa nibs

1. In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and milk; stir until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Refrigerate mixture, covered, until firm enough to roll, about 2 hours.

2. Shape into 1-in. balls. Roll in coatings as desired.
