CRANBERRY PECAN COOKIES

Each delightful little cookie is loaded with cranberries, nuts and a sweet hint of vanilla. But these little gems start with ready-made cookie dough! Let that be your little secret.

Prep: 10 min. • Bake: 10 min./batch Makes: 31/2 dozen

1 tube (161/2 oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough, softened

1 cup chopped pecans

2/3 cup white baking chips

2/3 cup dried cranberries

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine the cookie dough, pecans, chips, cranberries and vanilla. Drop by tablespoonfuls about 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets.

2. Bake until lightly browned, 10-12 minutes. Cool 2 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
