1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen puff pastry shells
1 can (21 oz.) apple pie filling
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Vanilla ice cream, optional
1. Bake pastry shells according to the package directions. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the apple pie filling, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix well. Cook and stir the mixture over medium-low heat until heated through, 3-4 minutes.
2. Remove tops from the pastry shells; fill with the apple mixture. Replace tops. Serve warm, with ice cream if desired.
