A delicious meal enhanced with the flavors of garlic and lemon.

Ingredients:
4 pork chops
½ cup of chicken stock
8 garlic cloves, crushed
1 lemon, halved and divided into thin half wedges
1 asparagus, woody ends trimmed and removed, halved
1 shallot, crushed
4 ½ tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 teaspoons of black pepper
2 teaspoons of sea salt
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a heavy pan over medium high heat until it shimmers.
2. Brown the pork on both sides and remove from pan.
3. Slightly brown the asparagus in the pan before adding the butter, chicken stock and shallots. Cook until the stock is almost reduced.
4. Return the pork to the pan and toss with the contents.
5. Add the garlic and lemon wedges; cook until the pork's internal temperature reaches 145F.
6. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
