IK PATERSON-HARKNESS lives on a grimy street on the fringe of Auckland’s CBD, watching seagulls squabble on the roof of the Chinese supermarket across the road while she tries to write her stories. With university degrees in music, philosophy and creative writing she doesn’t quite know what to do with herself. Mostly, when not writing, she’s doodling on a pad or thinking about time travel.
