Just when I think I can’t like any guy better than the one in the last Brothers of Fire series, I find myself falling in love with the next. Tommy Mancini is no different. He’s one of the good guys. Kind, sensitive, loving. He even takes care of his elderly grandparents. He’s what my mother would have called a great catch. So it was hard throwing problems his way.
But he’s stronger than I thought he was. He deals with all the hard stuff that comes his way. Even when Stef Stevens captures his heart.
I really liked Stef. She pursues her career with verve and commitment. After she meets Tom, she tries to control her feelings for him, tries to leave him when Lila crashes into his life, but she can’t stay away. It was fun to see her give in.
These two find their happily-ever-after despite their problems. I admire that in a hero and heroine of my books, in people in general. Life is tough, so we all should grab joy when it come. Tom and Stef should too.
Let me know what you thought of the book.
Best,
