Peter G. Levine is the director of SynapsTogether, dedicated to finding and reporting on the best systems for driving cortical plasticity. Since the 1990s, Pete has been involved in stroke-specific clinical research as a Research Associate first in the Human Performance & Motion Analysis Laboratory at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, and more recently as a Research Associate and Co-Director of the Neuromotor Recovery and Rehabilitation Laboratory (NMRRL), Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Cincinnati. Peter continues with the NMRRL (located in the Ohio State University Medical Center) as a consultant. He has written dozens of articles for magazines and has co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts. Peter is also an educator, giving more than 80 stroke-specific continuing education and professional talks per year.

Pete resides in Wyoming, Ohio, with his wife, Aila Mella (a physical therapist), and their two children, Emma Maria and Jesse Martin.
