Beef Bourguinon
Serves 8-10
Ingredients
• 4 pounds cubed lean beef
• 1 cup red wine
• 1 tsp. thyme
• 1 tsp. black pepper
• 2 cloves garlic, crushed
• 1 onion, diced
• 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
Instructions
Marinate beef in wine, oil, thyme and pepper for few hours at room temperature or 6-8 hours in the fridge. Cook garlic and onion in a pan until soft. Add mushrooms. Cook until they are browned. Drain beef liquid. Place beef in slow cooker. Sprinkle flour over the beef and stir to coat. Add mushroom mixture on top. Pour reserved marinade over all. Cook on low for 8-9 hrs.
