Dear Reader,

This is the last of the Sisterhood of the Dropped Stitches books, and I want to thank you for sharing in the lives of these four friends. The books have taken us on quite a journey—from a home for troubled teenagers in Hollywood, to a diner in Old Town Pasadena and then to a fabulous wedding in a unique fire station. The thread that has tied everything together has been the friendship of these young women, who have faced life, and the possibility of death, together.

Everyone wants friends—the more the merrier. Unfortunately, we don’t always take time to become close friends. Getting to know someone else deeply takes time.

Some of the most practical advice in Proverbs is in 18:24: “A man who hath friends must show himself friendly.” The friends in my own life have proven the truth of this statement. I hope that you have good friends, but if you do not, take to heart the advice in Proverbs, and that might change.

I love to hear from my readers. If you get a chance, visit my Web site at www.JanetTronstad.com and send me an e-mail. If you don’t have access to a computer, you can always drop me a note in care of the editors at Steeple Hill, 233 Broadway, Suite 1001, New York, New York, 10279.
