Marie D. Jones

Marie D. Jones is the best-selling author of Destiny vs. Choice: The Scientific and Spiritual Evidence Behind Fate and Free Will; 2013: End of Days or a New Beginning—Envisioning the World After the Events of 2012; PSIence: How New Discoveries in Quantum Physics and New Science May Explain the Existence of Paranormal Phenomena; and Looking for God in All the Wrong Places. Marie co-authored with her father, geophysicist Dr. John Savino, Supervolcano: The Catastrophic Event That Changed the Course of Human History. She is also the co-author of 11:11—The Time Prompt Phenomenon: The Meaning Behind Mysterious Signs, Sequences, and Synchronicities; The Resonance Key: Exploring the Links Between Vibration, Consciousness, and the Zero Point Grid; The Déjà vu Enigma: A Journey Through the Anomalies of Mind, Memory, and Time; and The Trinity Secret: The Power of Three and the Code of Creation with Larry Flaxman, her partner in ParaExplorers.com, an organization devoted to exploring unknown mysteries. Marie has an extensive background in metaphysics, cutting-edge science, and the paranormal, and has worked as a field investigator for MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) in Los Angeles and San Diego in the 1980s and 1990s. She currently serves as a consultant and director of special projects for ARPAST, the Arkansas Paranormal and Anomalous Studies Team, where she works with ARPAST president Larry Flaxman to develop theories that can test in the field. Marie is a former licensed New Thought/Metaphysics minister and has trained extensively in the Science of Mind/New Thought arena.

Marie has been on television, most recently on the History Channel’s Nostradamus Effect series and Ancient Aliens series, and served as a special UFO/abduction consultant for the 2009 Universal Pictures science fiction movie The Fourth Kind. She has been interviewed on hundreds of radio talk shows all over the world, including Coast to Coast AM, NPR, KPBS Radio, Dreamland, the X-Zone, Kevin Smith Show, Paranormal Podcast, Cut to the Chase, Feet 2 the Fire, World of the Unexplained, and the Shirley MacLaine Show, and has been featured in dozens of newspapers, magazines, and online publications all over the world. She is a staff writer and official blogger for Intrepid Magazine, and a regular contributor to New Dawn Magazine, and her essays and articles have appeared in TAPS ParaMagazine, Phenomena, Whole Life Times, Light Connection, Vision, Conspiracy Journal, Beyond Reality, and several popular anthologies, such as If Women Ruled the World, Let Go! Larry has been actively involved in paranormal research and hands-on field investigation for more than 13 years, and melds his technical, scientific, and investigative backgrounds together for no-nonsense, scientifically objective explanations regarding a variety of anomalous phenomena. He is the president and senior researcher of ARPAST, the Arkansas Paranormal and Anomalous Studies Team, which he founded in February 2007. Under his leadership, ARPAST has become one of the nation’s largest and most active paranormal research organizations, with more than 150 members worldwide. Widely respected for his expertise on the proper use of equipment and techniques for conducting a solid investigation, Larry also serves as technical advisor to several paranormal research groups throughout the country.
