PASTA COLESLAW

The addition of pasta updates a traditional cabbage slaw.

4 servings

4 ounces fusilli (spirals) or farfalle (bow ties), cooked, room temperature

1 cup thinly sliced green cabbage

⅔ cup each: chopped tomato, green bell pepper

¼ cup sliced celery

Creamy Dressing (recipe follows)

1. Combine all ingredients in bowl and toss.

Creamy Dressing

Makes about ½ cup

¼ cup each: fat-free mayonnaise, low-fat plain yogurt

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon dried tarragon leaves

¼ teaspoon each: salt, pepper

1. Mix all ingredients.
