Philippe de Vosjoli an expert on reptile husbandry who revolutionized herpetoculture with the publication of The Vivarium magazine and the Advanced Vivarium Systems line of books. With over a million books in print, he is the best-selling author of more than twenty books and 100 articles on the care and breeding of amphibians and reptiles. With Robert Mailloux, he pioneered the commercial breeding of bearded dragons and coauthored the best-selling General Care and Maintenance of Bearded Dragons, Amazon.com’s # 1 book on reptile care in 1998.

Robert Mailloux is the owner of Sandfire Dragon Ranch and was responsible for developing the commercial breeding of bearded dragons in the United States. He is the originator of the spectacular Sandfire morph of the bearded dragon. He is an amphibian specialist and was the first person to commercially breed several of the frog species now readily available in the pet trade. With Philippe de Vosjoli, he has coauthored several articles and books on the herpetoculture of bearded dragons and tropical frogs.

Susan Donoghue, V.M.D., has combined a life-long love of herps with her professional training as a board-certified diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Nutrition. She has written more than fifty publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and more than one-hundred chapters and articles on nutrition and health. She has served as editor for several publications and as president of the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition. She owns Nutrition Support Services, Inc., designs and markets the Walkabout Farm line of dietary products for herps, and is an avid breeder of bearded dragons.

Roger Klingenberg, D.V.M., has had a life-long passion for reptiles, which inspired his pursuit of a veterinary degree from Colorado State University. His combined skills of veterinary specialization in treating reptiles, along with over thirty years of experience keeping and breeding a variety of lizards, snakes and turtles, have helped bring him to the forefront of reptile veterinary medicine and surgery. He has shared his extensive knowledge and experience through lectures, magazine articles, textbook chapters, and scientific papers. He is the author of Understanding Reptile Parasites and coauthor of several best-selling books on reptile care including The Box Turtle Manual, The Ball Python Manual, and The Boa Constrictor Manual.

Jerry Cole is an experienced herpetoculturist who has kept and bred reptiles since the early 1980s. In 1984, he and his wife Belinda formed B.J. Herp Supplies, which they are still running today. Over the years they have developed many new reptile-oriented products, the best known probably being Natures Image T-shirts. Their business is currently run from purpose-built facilities on their Farm in South West England and sup-plies captive-bred livestock, equipment, literature, etc. to pet stores and hobbyists throughout Europe.
