Using just a few ingredients, this fresh and easy summertime dish is sure to become a family favorite.

1 salmon fillet (3 pounds)
1/2 cup prepared pesto
2 green onions, finely chopped
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1. Moisten a paper towel with cooking oil; using long-handled tongs, lightly coat the grill rack. Place salmon skin side down on grill rack. Grill, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 5 minutes.
2. In a small bowl, combine the pesto, onions, lemon juice and garlic. Carefully spoon some of the pesto mixture over salmon. Grill for about15-20 minutes longer or until the fish flakes easily with a fork, basting occasionally with the remaining pesto mixture.
