Orange marmalade and maple syrup combine to give these ham steaks a terrific taste. I even like to serve leftovers at brunch the next day. My children love it with fruit and scrambled eggs.

START TO FINISH: 20 MIN. • MAKES: 4 SERVINGS
1/2 cup orange marmalade
2 tablespoons maple syrup
4 1/2 teaspoons orange juice
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
4 boneless fully cooked ham steaks (5 ounces each)
1. In a small bowl, combine the marmalade, syrup, orange juice and chili powder.
2. Grill the ham steaks, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 3-4 minutes on each side or until heated through, brushing occasionally with marmalade mixture.
EASY IDEA
When adding marinade to meat, put the meat in a resealable plastic bag, then set the bag in a baking dish. Doing so makes pouring the marinade into the bag a bit easier, and cleanup is a snap should you spill any. In addition, the dish will catch any marinade if the bag leaks while in the refrigerator.
