“She did it, Bandit.”
Bandit jumped up and laid his front paws on my thigh. His bright blue eyes stared at me, and his tongue lolled to the side. “You’re a goofy boy.” I patted his head, and he jumped down. He grabbed his bone from the toy box and laid in front of the fireplace.
Reality crashed down on me when the timer on my phone went off.

I made the short walk to the bathroom, and my stomach dropped to my feet when two pink lines stared back up at me from the bathroom sink.
