LIAM
SEVEN YEARS LATER
––––––––
“LAURA MESSAGED ME. She said the carnival is pretty fun, and we’re missing out.” Mae lies naked under our cabana as azure waves crash against the shore. We decided to skip this year’s class reunion in favor of a tropical vacation before colder weather and the holidays set in back home.
“Ask her which she’d prefer: lazing on the beach with her beautiful wife or stuck on campus for another school reunion?”
“I’m not typing that.”
“Because you already know the answer. She’s just jealous she and Kristy didn’t join us.”
Point made, I snag Mae’s phone and toss it towards the end of the large bed we’re on. “You shouldn’t even be on your phone, babe. Guess my work as your husband is never done. You always need a reminder of who you belong to, don’t you?”
“More like you always feel the need to remind me.” She smirks but spreads her arms and legs wide like a starfish. “But do your worst,” she says playfully.
“You think I won’t because we’re outside? It’s a private beach, baby. Besides, you know I love fucking you wherever I can—public or otherwise.”
It’s become a sort of game for us over the years, since our first night together in Mingen. Every time we attend a reunion, we visit the infamous hall with its window and chair, amused and aroused by the memory.
“Oh, I know... But instead of reminiscing, I’m more inclined to enjoy the present, hmm?” She tilts her hips up, gliding her hands over curves that have grown fuller over the years but no less gorgeous.
Licking a path from her belly button to between her breasts, I capture one of her hands with mine and pin it to the cabana bed. “You’re right. Life doesn’t get much better than loving my wife on a secluded beach.”
Or loving my wife period.
The girl who became my addiction—my obsession—is mine for all time, and I’ll never let anything come between us again.
