LONDON Bridge is broken down,
Where once the fairies danced,
We shall soon build it up again,—
Now it has far advanced;
Alas, but shall we see again
The Undines shining through the rain?
Even now with faint and flickering feet,
Where very few may see,
They dance along the London street,
But to none visibly,
Save children to whose wondering eyes,
To see them would not be surprise.
