Most couples have a fallback sex position—the one that works, because it’s the most all-around satisfying and intimate position for them. Many people also have a signature sex move, the one that seemed to work on every woman/man—or at least we thought it did.
The signature sex move is a good thing (as long as you don’t become too dependent on it). Personalizing it to your partner makes it even better. Pay attention to his/her arousal process. What triggers arousal? Heightens it? Encourages orgasm? Or delays it for him? Take that little sex trick, hone it, and make it your signature sex move.
Examples (to get you started):
• The Silken Swirl/Butterfly Flick combination she learned on Wednesday.
• Tip-of-the-Tongue Kissing, using the tip of your tongue to outline one another’s lips and tongue—and to dart quickly in and out of mouths.
• The Velvet “No”—a cunnilingus move. He puts his lips around her clitoris, sucks very gently, and with equal subtlety shakes his head from side to side as if he were saying “No.”
• Stop/Start Intercourse Moves, designed to delay ejaculation while sustaining arousal. During intercourse, for example, he can vary the speed and depth of thrusting and on a pullout stroke, pause with barely the head of his penis inside her, look into her eyes, and massage her clitoris with his thumb.
