Image DAY 186: BIG O THURSDAY
The Science of Orgasm

Sex research tends to be sexist, with studies of women still focused on where orgasms come from—the clitoris, the G-spot/vagina, or both. We know more about male sexuality than female. Even given the fact that women’s sex organs are tucked inside while men’s are out there for scientists to measure, study, and prod into action with little blue pills, isn’t this confusion over a spot inside the vagina growing ever more ridiculous?

In January 2010, British researchers announced the G-spot was either fictitious or subjective. A few weeks later, a thousand French gynecologists at a conference on the G-spot decided that the English should look harder for the illusive spot.

Do your own research study and discover whether you are one of those women claiming a G-spot. If you have a responsive G-spot, play with it.

There are three ways to find it:

1. Insert two fingers of your hand or your lover’s, palm up, into your vagina, and making the tickling, “come hither” stroke. (See page 66.)

2. Experiment with a G-spot vibrator.

3. Find a penis of at least medium size that has a slight curve.
