How to Seize the Moment

Quickies don’t just happen. One or both lovers seize the moment. They send the little messages that say, “I want you” and “Let’s do it now.” Some suggestions for doing that:

• The lowered chin/raised eye look: Dip your chin a little. Now look up at your man, make eye contact, smile, and say, “I want you.”

• The focused attention: When you talk to your partner, engage fully. Don’t let your eyes wander. Make her feel there is no one more interesting than she is—and no place you’d rather be than naked in bed with her.

• Eye play: From across a crowded room, at a restaurant table, or over the kids’ heads as you’re tucking them in, look into his eyes, think a mischievous thought, and telegraph it.

• The light touch: Touch her hand or arm to emphasize a point in conversation. Brush against her and smile.

• Ask a provocative question, such as, “Would you rather I sucked your cock or begged you to fuck me?”
