Taking It Out #2: Sex Club/Sex Party Rules

Most big cities have a few sex clubs—some private, members only, some public, charging a fee at the door. Generally, couples and single women are welcome, but men alone are not. Condoms and single packets of lube are usually available on the premises. Rules are either posted or handed out on cards. You won’t be forced to participate, but you will probably have to take off your clothes (or most of them).

Sex parties are hosted by groups of players who have developed clear rules of conduct that guests are expected to observe. Request the guidelines. Some parties permit sex acts short of intercourse. You can do almost anything at others as long as you are practicing safe sex. As in sex clubs, condoms and lube packets are usually available. No one should ever feel pressured into participating or “performing.”

There’s sex and there’s Sex. Have a program before heading out to a party or club. Many couples don’t swing or participate in group sex. They get aroused by watching, go to a private corner, and have sex with one another only, their excitement fueled by what is happening around them.
