Homemade desserts don’t come faster or easier than this one. Even if you don’t own an ice cream maker, you can still enjoy frozen yogurt that is better tasting—and better for you—than anything you can buy. Start with unsweetened frozen fruit and use your food processor to whirl in yogurt for a low-calorie frozen treat in just minutes.

16 ounces (450 grams) unsweetened frozen strawberries (3 1/2 cups)

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon orange juice

1. Place the strawberries and sugar in a food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped. Mix the yogurt and orange juice in a measuring cup. With the motor running, gradually pour the yogurt mixture through the feed tube. Process until smooth and creamy, stopping once or twice to scrape down the side of workbowl. Serve the frozen yogurt directly from the food processor workbowl or place in freezer for 30 minutes to harden before serving. One serving is 1/2 cup.
