Authors note.
When you write a book, the more information you get correct, so to speak, the easier it is to read, your reader doesn’t suddenly stop reading to say to herself ‘oh no it isn’t’, or whatever. But what is correct information today, may be out of date by tomorrow. Take chapters ten and eleven. Lisa, Jody and Holly are on a nuclear submarine. Lisa has said that the crew are all men. True - at the time I wrote it! Since then the Navy have announced that they’re going to allow mixed crews. Writing stories is difficult enough without people moving the goal posts like that. Oh well, hand me the Tipp-ex.
