I saw a bridge to China
Above the wide and wavy sea
I hurried to cross to China
Hearing a voice call out to me.
When I was trekking throughout China
What feasts and fireworks I did see!
And in the woods, a gentle panda
Nibbling bamboo shoots with glee.
I saw a bridge to China
Spanning islands and an ocean
Three times I went to China
And saw a stretch of endless land.
When first I was in China
I saw a lovely old pagoda
And cutest babies fed on soya…
So lucky to be born in China!
When last I was in China
Its scrapers soared towards the sky
And the biggest dragons ever,
Were belching fire and riding high!
