Relationships - Part 2

1. Johnny and Kate broke up in 1998. Kate has since said in several interviews that she finally felt ‘taken care of’ with Johnny and that their break up involved lots of crying.
2. Whilst filming The Ninth Gate, Johnny met Vanessa Paradis, a French actress and singer. The couple went on to have two children together.
3. After much speculation from gossip magazines the pair confirmed their split in June 2012 after fourteen years together. Surprisingly, the two had never married. Newspapers reported that their split was amicable.
4. It has been said that the reason behind the split is that Johnny was photographed getting ‘a bit too friendly’ with his flight attendant whilst boarding a plane. Vanessa has said she will not talk about her private life, so no-one can know for sure the real reason behind the couple’s break-up.
5. Since his split with Vanessa Paradis, many sources claimed Johnny was dating The Rum Diary co-star Amber Heard. However, their relationship apparently didn’t last too long as she dumped him in January 2013.
