General - Part 2

1. Depp moulded his character Captain Jack Sparrow around the Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards.
2. After Nightmare on Elm Street, Johnny began taking acting classes at Los Angeles’s Loft Studio.
3. Johnny has said he is not embarrassed by some of his earlier roles, as at the time he was just a musician trying to make money.
4. After his role in 21 Jump Street, Johnny became a poster boy and appeared on the cover of many teen magazines.
5. Johnny once sent Winona 200 helium balloons; she found it hard to reach the phone to thank him!
6. After their break-up (and much consideration) Johnny decided it would be worth the pain to have his ‘Winona forever’ tattoo removed. It now reads ‘Wino Forever’.
7. Until 2004, Johnny co-owned (with Chuck E. Weiss) the Viper Room, a small 1920s decorated club on the corner of Sunset Boulevard.
8. Johnny once tried to re-enact Gene Simmons eating fire, only he ended up setting his face alight. The excuse he gave to his mum was that they were playing with fireworks and one exploded in his face!
9. Johnny has a tattoo of daughter Lily-Rose Melody’s name on the left side of his chest.
10. He also has the tattoo seen in Curse of the Black Pearl as a signature to Captain Jack Sparrow with his son’s name Jack beneath it. Unlike the film however, the sparrow is flying towards him.
