Homework

Teens aren’t the only one with homework requirements anymore. Many adults are choosing to further their education by taking night courses, weekend classes, Internet college courses, or taking the plunge and going back to school full time. Try turning your homework into magick with these great ideas!

• Translate your spells and rituals into the foreign language you are currently taking. Saying spells in a foreign tongue adds mystery and power!

• Turn any math-oriented homework, including economics, calculus, geometry, or algebra homework, into talisman magick.

• Research what was happening in the history of magick during the time period you are expected to study in school. For example, did you know that Alexander the Great was Aristotle’s student? Did you know that Aristotle taught Alexander how to make favorable war proclamations by using astrology?19 Considering Alexander the Great conquered more countries than I have pentacles in my magickal cabinet (and I have a slew, let me tell ya), this should let us know that magickal astrological timing is no joke. Did you also know that Benjamin Franklin was into astrology? He better have been, because he produced Poor Richard’s Almanac, which was an astrological publication used by many of his day. It is highly likely that he used astrology to select the date of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, because the United States had the strongest chart of all the nations of the world. (England was number two.)20
